oday, we drove 6 hours to Coffee bay, which is this beautiful town/resort area on the coast of South Africa. It was wonderful squishing all 10 of us in an 8-seater van and driving through the landscape of South Africa. The land is like a picture-beautifully sculptured with mountains and valleys and aesthetic trees. It is really indescribable. I've always loved road trips on roads that move with the land.
on the way, in the dark, we got a flat tire. We stood around like idiot Americans for awhile until 2 strangers pulled over and saved our day. I must admit, horror stories flashed through my mind as we were stuck, but in the end everything worked out-thank, God. The stars at night, nevertheless are gorgeous-big and bright.
We arrived in our hostel and had dinner. There are a ton of people here for a drum festival-really cool! I can't wait to explore tomorrow!
The stars at night are big and bright (clap, clap, clap, clap) deep in the heart of texas...and apparently in south africa too, hahaha
